Dude, you making me remember things I saw on TV in South Africa about Monster Trucks when I was 9 years old in 1986....
Tesla XXL it’s a quiet and when the truck starts to flip over, it won’t turtle and just end up rolling on its side. Also when it jumps it makes a spaceship sound.

Couldn't be no one other than Pastrana duhh
I'd make an old school one called Mustang *the horse* and it'd have an oldschool Mustang body with a mustang running on the side with mustang in the middle. It'd be powered by a 450 ci super charged engine with a 29 inch lift and muscle rims.

I would make the, "TRUMP MAGA FREEDOM 2020" monster truck. On the cars that it crushes are written the words, BLM, Anti-FA, Commies, Socialists, Election Stealers, China, Swam Rats, Deep State, Clintons "Didn't" kill Epstein, Critical Race Theory, Green Puke Deal, Socialized Healthcare. I love your vids and pods donut but when you interject dopey SJW crap in your podcasts I stop listening. Don't ruin the masterpiece you've created with disgusting whiney liberal tears.
Use a base model like a mustang call it the specter with tons of downforce i would use it mainly to attempt frontflips and maybe try a double but also use for wicked big jumps

Check out penda 1990s monster truck racing to y’all lol #wildfoot #bearfoot #carolinacrusher
I remember watching monster trucks racing in a river on TV when I was a kid. This was back when they had full metal bodies and the engines were still in the front. The giant tires made the trucks buoyant enough to halfway float. They didn’t go very fast so I don’t think anybody ever tried doing it again.
Ngl its insane that tom meents wasn’t mentioned at all in this when he is definitely the most innovative driver
Lol give Nolan a break if ur not a long time fan you wont know everything but Tom is the Professor monster jam for a reason and 2007 overseas he did a move that actually sent him into a backflip but in 2007 a truck doing a backflip was literally unheard of.... reasons why other drivers attempted like Travis after they saw Tom’s footage.
so nolan speaks about flips of all sorts but not about the double backflip from mowhawkwarrior ? :c
My monster truck would have the same name as my IRworld user name.
Missiouri
THAT CHRIS JOSLIN CAMEO
This was such a great idea for an episode. Thanks for following through, doing the research, as it was very well paced and edited. I'm not a huge fan, but I was born in '78, absolutely loved Stompers toy trucks as a kid, and I did live in the pacific NW for a few yrs... IMPOSSIBLE to avoid Mud Bog races and Monster Trucks.
Clifford the little red r... ranger lmao
Everett Jasmer met Bob Chandler in July of 1979 at a mud run in Detroit Lakes, MN. Bob ran a four wheel drive shop as did Everett, and each used their four wheel drive trucks to promote their business. After Bigfoot, a yet-to-be-named USA-1, and Everett's 1979 daily driver, cinema named, Silver Bullet trucks were featured in 'Take This Job and Shove It', the monster truck industry was started. That movie gave the general public a glimpse at what could be done with a four wheel drive pickup truck. As the other industry pioneers, Bearfoot, King Kong and others graced magazine covers, book publishers, car dealerships, toy and model manufacturers all wanted in on the monster truck craze. A Playskool Bigfoot, Lanard King Kong, Road Champs Bearfoot and a Nylint All American and Eagle showed up in toy stores across the country. These trucks also caught the attention of other industries as sponsorship from mainstream companies showed up on the sides of the trucks. Ford Bigfoot, True Value Master Mechanic USA-1, and Seth Doulton's Copenhagen/Skoal Crusher and Bandit trucks.

......”SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!!!! CHECK OUT YOUR FAVORITE MONSTER TRUCKS LIVE AT THE MEADOWLANDS!!!! BIGFOOT!!!!! AND (DEEP DEATH METAL VOICE) GRAVE DIGGER!!!!!”......those ads were classic.
Bob drove Bigfoot on 66" tires at the Silverdome. Bigfoot 8 was the first truck to use a tube chasis and was banned by USHRA for a half a season so other teams could catch up with their technology. There were the Battle, War, and Return of The Monster Trucks TV specials in the 80's Battle being the first side by side race on Television. There was also the TNT Monster Truck Challenge in 1988 89 and 1990. This would become the Penda Points Series. Then there's Monster Wars in 1995 which would become part of TNN Motor Madness which would become MONSTER JAM in 1999. There's alot you missed dude.
I grew up going to see Monster Jam at the Pontiac Silver Dome 😪 Saw the very last monster truck show there after it was sold. Wasn't even Monster Jam and tbh it sucked... was a sad day when it went down.
Hey! Pls do a vid on Sprint Car Racing! It's so obscure and different and extreme. Imo it should be interesting. Cheers.

Skip to 1:55, so you can never see which brand that made this video sponsored.
Modern Marvels had an episode way back when that went through the history of a majority of the bigfoot stuff. Like how bigfoot 5 was built and all that. Would recommend checking it out if you can find it.
Stoopid Bob and his stoopid idea. How many great cars were crushed because of him and those that followed.

I would name my truck the honey badger and I would put a picture of my puppy dog on the side
Me in the beginning of the video, he mentioned Missouri yay, ps: no one ever mentions Missouri. Me watching this video like: I saw the og big foot and the big foot with the huge military tires and the little thing with tracks on it because I used to live like 5 mins from where they would keep them. Also me, I’ve met the dude who made big foot because my mom used to teach there kids.
So much missed. Where's Bigfoot 9/10? Where's Dan Patrick, Marty Garza, Scott Stephens, Pablo Huffaker? US Hot Rod Pulling association?
That Christ Joslin shoutout tho
